Hi, I am Ajla Vandevoort.

I am a Bosnian American, married to a Dutch American, currently living and raising our family in Cambridge, UK. As someone that has moved continents FOUR times, I understand how important it is to preserve the memories of your life as it is in this moment. I want you to be able to look back at photographs decades from now and be transported to those same moments: your child's laughter, their hands in yours, the way their curls frame their face, the way only they look at you...

I grew up with a dad who was a professional photographer, and photography is something that has always been a part of me. I went on to get my Doctorate in Pharmacy, and had a traditional professional career for an entire decade, but continued to silently shoot behind the scenes. It wasn't until I had my own children that I realized how important photography is to me - funny how kids have a way of rocking your entire core.
