Where do you shoot?
I shoot in and around Cambridge. Whether you are envisioning your family in the picturesque streets of Cambridge, the elegant Backs, a golden hour flower field or simply your home on a cold and rainy day, I will be there to create some magical moments with you.
Is there an additional fee for travel?
Yes, for any location more than 20km from Cambridge City Centre, such as Ely and other surrounding areas, there will be an additional 50 GBP fee for travel up to 2 hours total.
Help! What do I wear?
No worries here! I can help suggest some options based on the vibes you are wanting, what your favorite clothing brands are and budget. I want you to feel your best self day of.
What if my child is grumpy or uncooperative?
PLEASE dont stress over this! Your children have a 6th sense for these things and will do exactly what you fear. I will send you a guide on how to prepare your children for shooting day. More importantly, I strive to make my sessions fun and relaxed, capturing genuine moments. I will do my best to make this a fun, unscripted and spontaneous experience for all. I will provide gentle prompts but will mostly let you guide me to what feels natural to you and your family.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Not at all! The digital images you receive will be of high-resolution and top quality and you will be able to print small and large formats.
Can you fix my wrinkles or an obvious scrape on my child?
I certainly can! I dont believe in editing out how you look, but if your child shows up with a scrape on their face, I will do my best to fix it. Same goes for wrinkles, styes, etc. I want you to love your photos forever! Please just let me know if this is something you want done, as not everyone does.
How long does it take to get my photos back?
I aim for 2-4 weeks, but will communicate ahead of time if there is a chance it might be longer.
Which session should we book?
You can book any session you want!
Some guidelines:
MINI: for 1-2 people ie. newborn session, couples, graduation, maternity.
DELUXE - for a 4-5 person family (particularly if you have younger children as they lose interest after about 30-45 min)
ULTIMATE - this is for anyone that wants to get the most photos or that wants to add grandparents or has a bigger family and wants to ensure we have time to capture everyone. The timing also allows for more than one location (must be adjacent) or if at home to capture more than one activity ie playing, baking, garden + indoors etc.
